FABULOUS 60’s WEEKEND with ‘THE MEDIA’
The Media first got together in May 1999 and have since played at venues all over the North of England and are now regulars at the World famous Cavern Club in Liverpool. The current line-up of the band comprises: Eddie Harris (born Liverpool) on lead vocals and guitar, Dave Marlow (born Preston) on bass guitar and vocals, Pete Barnshaw (born Manchester) on lead guitar and vocals, and Steve Sutcliffe (born Halifax) on drums. The lads have played in various bands over the years and all have one thing in common - playing classic music from the 60's and 70's with attitude!

FRIDAY 6th June 2008
Arrive at your leisure - rooms will be available from Noon onwards
7.00 pm: Relax & unwind with a drink in our large themed cellar bar and get to know your fellow guests.
7.30 pm: Chicken & Chips served in the Bar area.
9.00 pm: We welcome on stage ‘The Media’
9.45 pm: INTERVAL
10.15 pm: We welcome back on stage ‘The Media’
11.00 pm: Karaoke - now it’s your turn!! - Over 6000 songs to choose from.
Bar till late

SATUDAY 7th June 2008
Breakfast served between 9.30 - 10.30am in our light and airy Beatles themed dining room.
Spend the day at your leisure, taking in the sights of Blackpool.
7.00 pm: Bar open - come down and relax
7.30 pm: 60’s Music Trivia Quiz - see just how much you really know & win a prize.
9.00 pm: Back for the 2nd night – ‘The Media’ for more hits from the 60’s
9.45 pm: INTERVAL
10.15 pm: We welcome back on stage ‘The Media’
11.00 pm: Fancy Dress Judging then Karaoke & music of the 50's / 60's / 70's
Bar till late.

SUNDAY 8th June 2008
Breakfast will be served between 9.30am - 10.30am to set you up for your journey home.
